PETROBRAS CHIEF EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION OFFICER

Executive Board member and responsible for E&P activities in Brazil, with an average production of 2 million barrels of oil per day and 63 million cubic meters of gas. During this period, oil and gas production organically increased aprox 5%, reserve replacement index was annually above 100%, operational efficiency increased more than 10%, as well as annual Capex budget of 25 Billion dollars and Opex reduction program in E&P activities were implemented. He was a member of Gaspetro company (belongs to Petrobras in the Gas & Power area) and IBP (Brazilian Petroleum Institute) boards.

EXECUTIVE MANAGER FOR PRE-SALT

Dedicated to designing and implementing the floating production systems and gas evacuation of the giant discoveries of Santos Basin Pre-salt, made in 2006, reaching produced first oil 3 years after discovery (Tupi/Lula field) and currently producing more than 1.5 MM bopd from all areas. This program has received OTC Award in 2015.
